This half term, our class have explored the Amazon Rainforest in South America. We have found out about the different plants and animals (flora and fauna) that live there and how they have adapted to suit the difficult tropical conditions.
My favourite challenge was making a South American biome.
We discovered that tribes still live there today. Some have not even made contact with the outside world. We found it fascinating that they can survive without a TV or mobile phone. Currently, we are exploring tribal body art and designing our own versions. Because the South American Aztecs invented chocolate, we are developing our own chocolate tribal treats! Look out for news of our special Enrichment day!
